Manuel “Mannie” Avenia joined Seaportal Ltd. shortly after completing his second circumnavigation of the world as yacht master. Mannie is the consummate professional captain, displaying confidence, integrity, knowledge, seamanship, and humor. After over 30,000 sea miles, the yacht Mannie most recently captained completed its circumnavigation looking as if it just came off the show room floor. Preparation and preventative maintenance are the two things Mannie stresses for a successful, problem free cruise.
Mannie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Seaportal Ltd. He is completely at home in the Med, Caribbean, South Pacific, and Indian Ocean and seems to know special anchorages in just about every navigatable part of the world. His in-depth knowledge of virtually every piece of equipment found aboard a modern yacht makes him an invaluable asset to Seaportal Ltd.
